Rosemary received an undergraduate degree in Government from the University of Texas and has been an Austin resident since 1969. She graduated from UT Law School in 1977 and was licensed the following year. Beginning with a general law practice, handling both criminal and civil matters, her practice evolved into her area of expertise: family law. Rosemary’s approach is to be an advocate for her client and any children involved in the case. In the rough terrain of family law, Rosemary offers her experience and maturity to efficiently resolve disputes, while keeping emotional and financial costs under control.
Her recent move towards the newly evolving field of collaborative law reflects her genuine interest in finding the best possible resolutions available for her clients and their children in a respectful environment.
In 1976, Rosemary trained as a mediator and has served as a mediator in many family law cases. A past president of the Family Law Section of the Travis County Bar Association, she was also appointed by the Travis County Commissioners to serve on a panel that studied child abuse and neglect in Travis County. She is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, which means she annually completes legal education classes at least double the 15 hours of Continuing Legal Education required of all attorneys licensed in Texas.
